From the top you will discover a panorama that stretches from Ste. Baume to the massif of Ste. Victoire, and the plain of Argens, In the foreground there is a clear view of the city of St. Maximin.
In the village the ancient houses mount side by side all the way up the hill to the 18th c. castle.
Seillons has very interesting and comprehensive archives on each period of its past. History lovers will be fascinated.
They will find that the records here begin with recounting pre-Roman times, and then life in the village as it continued to evolve along with each successive lord of Seillons.
Today the village has managed to remain authentic. Visitors will appreciate that while strolling around the little flowered streets.
