Take route D560 north at St. Maximin to Barjols, then route D554.
Located not far from Barjols, Tavernes is a pleasant village in the Haut-Var.
The old village, formerly fortified, has some sites to visit, in particular the Notre Dame de Bellevue chapel (1642) located north of the village.
Its visit will be for you the opportunity of a beautiful walk in the hill which rises to 637m of altitude.
