Le Lavandou is a beautiful town. We stayed here because we were attending a wedding. We were so glad we did, as the whole place is charming, easy to get around and has plenty of restaurants, shops and services to make our stay really lovely. We will come back in the future as it really is an amazing place.

Good sized sea front town.
Good sized sea front town. Good access to main areas of town and parking. When we were there it was just end of season and not too busy. Also we had fantastic weather. More to do than we had time for, would like to come back and explore the area a bit more.

Just a perfect French atmosphere.
Just a perfect French atmosphere. Bar Central is the hub of the town next to the Espandon hotel. Promenading along the beach is essential. Lots of restaurants and pretty shops. I recommend Bo the Thai restaurant in the shopping area as a great place to eat and be seen.

I am prejudiced having been visiting the area regularly for the last thirty years !!! I would recommend June as the most favourable time to visit as July and especially August it becomes extremely busy and quite crowded.

We liked the calm and the friendliness of everyone we met.
We liked the calm and the friendliness of everyone we met. The town is a delight as it is comparatively unspoilt and the beaches all along that part of the coast are sandy and well maintained. We ate local produce in lots of good restaurants at reasonable prices but also bought delicious things at the market and picnicked on the beach. We did it all by public transport and found the 7801 bus service excellent: €3 each, wherever we wanted to go, so €3 for a short hop but also €3 to go all the way from Toulon to St Tropez (the driver is happy if you can produce the exact money). We also made a lot of use of the old coastal railway line which is now a cycle path and footpath so avoids having to walk on the main road. We had great walks at Bormes and Cavaliere, very well marked, up into the hills but be careful to check the Var government website for the fire risk. We were lucky to have a wet day so safe walking afterwards.

I liked the promenade with palm trees , seats and a wide selection of restaurants. The tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful . It was situated straight down the narrow alleys about 400 yards from the main road and the side road to Le Petit Boheme.
The wide sandy beach had many people sunbathing and swimming at 19.00 in the evening in early September.
Very nice hotel in a fantastic location away from the main town. Perfect if you like walking/cycling along beautiful coastline and swimming in very clear water at some beautiful beaches (the one across the road is very nice, but we also loved Aiguebelle and Jean Blanc). Walking distance to some great restaurants (we really liked Les Tamaris - Chez Raymond in particular). Breakfast was good, owners very helpful and went out of their way to arrange a few things for us. Great balcony and sea view from our room (as booked).
In heart of Le Lavandou, beautiful area, close to beach, supermarket, boulangerie, restaurants, shops. Free big parking (P. du Marche) at 8 min by foot. Only for 2, too small if you have a kid. Keep in mind that the bedroom is separated only by a curtain and the bathroom have only a sliding glass door and is not closed up to the ceiling - is quite typical in small studios like this, for us was no problem. Being in center is noisy in the morning from delivery and cleaning trucks.
The hotel is excellent, very nicely renovated it seems and the staff was super nice and helpful. The location is perfect, right at the center of the city and near the main beach. The room was clean with a large window for fresh air and sun. The hotel has a nice terrasse where you can have a drink or a coffee in the morning. The parking was super helpful and right next to the hotel. The stay was short but very agreeable. I recommend this hotel.
The property is truly impressive with a location that is convenient to the beach, the harbor, shopping and restaurants. The pool is wonderful and many nights we had dinner by the pool after preparing it in the outdoor kitchen. All agreed, two Americans and six Finn's, we would come back again. If you like a modern hotel with all of the services this is not the place for you, but if old world charm appeals to you, this is your place.
The premises of the hotel are nicely located right at the beach, in a very quiet bay. They did a great job with the landscaping.
The room had a good size, nice terrace and was great for our 6 night stay. The breakfast spot overlooking the sea is stunning and the selection of food at the breakfast is really good (not the biggest range but for a French breakfast it’s much more than I would expect).
Friendly staff!
Very friendly couple running the hotel, location of the hotel is great; the main building sits on top of the hill; the accommedation bit lower; feels a bit like a film set. the pool is big with nice views. breakfast is good and sufficient. Walk into town and beach 15 min. Plenty of parking at the hotel, all was good, would stay there again. A bientot

Absolutely fabulous, centrally located in Le Lavandou close to the beach and harbour, 1st class equipment and nicely renovated. Totally recommend this apartment. Concierge service was absolutely professional and helpful. We will definetely come back!
The hotel location is wonderful, a few steps from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are spotless and include welcome baskets with treats and toiletries.
The owners/staff were very friendly and gave lots of tips of places to go. The location is great! Close to the beach and to the center of the city. You can do everything walking.
The hotel has a great patio also for pic nic or chilling.
room very clean, spacious and bright with large terrace with wonderful view overlooking the port. Breakfast was simple but good. A typical continental breakfast. The hotel owners were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful.
Incredible location. I am so lucky we found this gem of a place. It has a gorgeous beach, beautiful boutique hotel and the manager, Claire was so kind and accommodating. We are a family of 5 and our kids want to come back too!
Probably one of the best pools we’ve ever been in! Small, but modern, very clean and fancy toiletries. They even give you flip flops instead of the traditional slippers which was a good idea for a hotel called ‘The Pool’.
The staff , comfy room and location. They accommodated to our beeds, gave us the info we needed. The hotel is very well located with bars/restaurants just next door. Lovely sea view from our balcony. All superb
Great location 50 feet from the beach - very nice hotel - great rooms with sea view and balcony - nice 10 minute walk along the sea front to the town centre and marina - excellent car park and dog friendly.
The location is just perfect we have stayed pre covid in this hotel and loved it. However the new owners made a difference they are lovely and so helpful and friendly made our stay so much nicer.
The hotel is right on the beach and we had a room with a wonderful sea view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was outstanding. We loved it.
