Lac de Montpezat, a pretty little lake in the Verdon region

Located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Lac de Montpezat is a real natural treasure. Small in size, it is less well known than the larger lakes in the Verdon (Lac de Ste Croix, Lac d'Esparron...) and is therefore a little less crowded in summer.

Lac de Montpezat is renowned for its shaded grassy beaches, which provide the ideal setting for relaxing while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. These beaches are mainly located on the right bank of the lake.

One of the most notable beaches is made up of rocks, providing an impressive contrast with the blue of the water and the green of the surrounding trees. It can be reached via a path that runs alongside the Verdon cliffs, offering a bird's eye view of the lake.

Other beaches are available on the left bank, although they are less attractive than those on the right.
