For younger children, Kids Island offers a safe area with a paddling pool and adapted water games. Life jackets are available for children who can't swim.

Picnic areas are available at the park entrance, although lunch is not permitted in the aquatic area. Visitors can also take advantage of the many food and beverage outlets, including a bar and a brasserie.

For a carefree day out, remember to rent a locker for your personal belongings and reserve a deckchair in advance.

Water attractions and activities to discover

Da Wave and My Surf are two of the main attractions, offering thrills and spills on artificial waves.

For slide fans, “Le Géant” and “Le Rocket” are a must. The former will take you down 33 meters at an impressive speed, while the latter offers a 65-meter freefall, starting with a trapdoor under your feet.

Families will appreciate the tropical river, ideal for a refreshing stroll. The little ones can have fun in the Adventurers' Castle and the Tiki Slide.

Finally, for a more relaxing experience, lounging areas with deckchairs and parasols are available. You can also enjoy themed evenings on Thursdays and Saturdays, with shows and entertainment for all the family.

You'll find Wave Island at the following address: 800 allée de Beaulieu, 84170 Monteux, France. The park is just 10 minutes from Avignon, making it easily accessible by car via the A7 or A9 freeways. GPS coordinates are: 44° 1' 15.204“ N / 4° 57' 55.654” E.

The park is open daily from 10am to 7pm, with attractions closing at 6:30pm. For those wishing to extend the day, themed evenings are held from Thursday to Saturday from 7pm to 11pm.

To plan your visit to Wave Island, we recommend you book your tickets in advance, either online or on site. Prices vary according to age and size. For example, children under the age of 4 are admitted free of charge, while adults must budget €31.90 per ticket.

Special passes are also available for a personalized experience:

  • Pass'Rapid at €20, offering priority access to ten attractions

  • Season Pass at €199, allowing unlimited access throughout the season and including a 10% discount on catering and the souvenir store.

Park rules and regulations: swimming shorts, burkini

The wearing of certain types of clothing is strictly regulated in the park to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors. Swim shorts are permitted, but underwear, even under swim shorts, is forbidden. Full-body swimwear such as the burkini is permitted, provided it is designed for swimming and complies with safety standards.

For safety reasons, head veils may only be worn as turbans. Religious dress is not permitted on attractions. Safety equipment for children's swimming, such as armbands and buoys, is compulsory and available on site.

And don't forget to bring a padlock to secure your personal belongings in the lockers provided for visitors.
